Billy and I moved to Atlanta, Georgia from Dallas, Texas in September 2007. I started this blog so our friends and family could keep up with our lives since we were far away. We are now back in Dallas and trying to enjoy life to its fullest. Presently, we only have 3 dogs but that could change suddenly in this household! Also, McKinley is no longer a baby but a big girl. Life is good!!
One thing I didn't anticipate was how sad I would be as Mac's last day at Eagle Pointe approached. She has had such a wonderful experience there with great teachers and a loving environment. Here she is with her class, her teacher Miss Tanya (pronounced Miss Tan-ga), and with Gianna (they call each other their best friend!)
Ever since we saw flamingos at Disney's Animal Kindgom, McKinley loves to imitate them! Here she is at the beach showing us yet another FLAMINGO!!!!!! (she likes to yell as she poses!)
Mac loved the beach- she couldn't get enough! We also found a new favorite restaurant, Bahama Bob's! Our standby the Shrimp Basket did not disappoint either!
My Uncle Jerry and Aunt Karen celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary and we met Mom and Bill in Alabama to attend the party. We got a few days in at the beach at Gulf Shores too! This is where I grew up going to the beach and was anxious for Billy to visit- he loved it and we see many annual beach trips here as Mac grows up!
A lot has happened since Disney World! I quit my job and we put our house on the MLS for lease and had it leased within a week! We'll definitely miss this house!!!! We made it ours and have so many wonderful memories with not just us but all the friends and family who visited us over the last 4.5+ years! McKinley, you probably won't remember your time in Georgia but we'll have lots of memories to share with you!
