Magic Kingdom

There are a lot of parades at Magic Kingdom and we managed to catch one.  We danced and laughed and saw all of our favorite characters!

Magic Kingdom

Magic Kingdom was magical...... but it was also ridiculously crowded!  It was difficult to walk and push a stroller through all the people.  Add the 20+ minutes waiting time for lines with a 2 year old and that made it tough.  We did manage to ride the teacups though and we all enjoyed it! :)

Epcot

Epcot

Epcot had a splash park that McKinley loved!!!  We literally had to drag her away to see the rest of the park!  We enjoyed visiting all the countries and Mac was able to run around since it wasn't as crowded.

Epcot

Epcot was actually our favorite.  A lot less crowded than Magic Kingdom and they serve adult beverages ;).  HGTV hosts their annual lawn and garden show and the topiaries and flowers were stunning!

Breakfast with Mickey and friends

We made reservations to have breakfast with Mickey and friends the first morning.  What we didn't count on was the characters coming to the table actually scared McKinley!  She loved seeing them in the room, but was too shy to actually get her own picture (that's why I am the only one with Mickey).  Pluto was the last one to come around and she touched his nose with a lot of prodding from Mommy :)

Disney World April 2012

We spent a few days at Disney back in April.  Cousin Julie works there and gave us the royal treatment!  We stayed at the Wilderness Lodge and our hotel was top-notch.  The grounds were beautiful and we were sad it rained and we didn't get to play in the fun pool.  Mac still had a blast and will really enjoy this once she is older!  Lots of pictures and posts coming up- It was really hard to break this into just a few posts.

Celebrating my birthday

Saturday night we went to Ruth Chris with our friends Bryan and Heather who live across the street.  We took the opportunity for a picture since we were all dressed at the same time! A rarity these days!  Also important to note, MJW did fantastic at dinner!!!!!  I was slightly worried but since this location of RC is located inside the Embassy Suites, I felt confident she wouldn't be the only child in an adult restaurant.  She ate a steak burger and watched Dora on Bryan's phone!  Great evening with good friends!!!

McKinley Construction

Mac came home from school this week with a new hat!  Not only does she love the hat, so do we!  Here she is sporting the hat complete with a dirty face (she just finished dinner) and Billy even handed her a hammer for effect!
