NOLA October 2010

 
One of my very best friends got married in October in NOLA. She was a beautiful bride and the weekend was a blast getting to spend time with all my Dallas girls!!! Here is my attempt at a collage of all my pics.

Joe's Retirement Party

 

Matt, Billy and I threw our dad a retirement party in November. He's worked almost 50 years!! It was a fun weekend, here is the "belle of the party" with the guest of honor and Mama Eddings

 

Here's the old iron fireplace. It's fun to explore new places.

 

One gloomy Saturday we were stir crazy and went for a drive. Billy found this old ironworks site that we explored. MJ loves being outside!

One Year Old!

 

I can't believe it's been a year. McKinley you are a joy I never imagined could be so wonderful. I feel so lucky that God picked me to be your Mommy! You make your daddy and I smile daily and we can't imagine life without you! Even though you did not like your birthday cake, this picture will be funny to you one day!!! Happy 1 Year McKinley Jo!

First Haircut

 

Now the bangs are even and outta my face!

Shaggy bangs called for our first haircut. We went to visit Daddy's stylist and McKinley was great! More pictures to follow!

The Rocking Chair

 

This was my rocking chair as a little girl and Gma refinished it and surprised me with it as a gift at my baby shower. I've patiently been waiting for Mac to get "big enough" to use it. Cut to Gma's visit early December and I come home from work and viola! Mac is climbing on it, falling off and climbing back on! It took her less than a day to master it. Here she is with her adorable pink coat from Mama Eddings

Bathtime

 

Every night before our bath, once we take her clothes and diaper off, she re-awakes! She has new energy and loves to laugh and smile! So sweet. She'll kill me one day for this picture, but it's priceless.

 


McKinley has discovered the dog door! So far, no dogs have ran her over yet but Gma advised me to put a pillow outside the door b/c it's only a matter of time before MJ goes thru the door!

McKinley loves the dogs- she doesn't get a lot of attention from Herschel but when she does, I always try to capture it! He has been nothing but sweet to her when she comes to play.
