Gma secretly sewed MJ and I matching sundresses! She was very sly and did this with guessing our measurements! She did an excellent job!

Mexico- with Jim and Courtney

We met Jim and Courtney at the resort and the four of us are bonded for life. Jim and Billy already were really close but Courtney and I got along swimmingly, I only wish we lived closer!

Pops and Gigi visit

Billy and I went to Mexico for a few days and Gigi and Pops came to take care of our crew. Mac, Abba and Bodie were spoiled rotten!

Papaw came to visit in July and he couldn't say no to Mac and her bubbles. She would "let you" blow bubbles all day if she had her wish!

Uncle Matt time!

Uncle Matt came to visit in June! We all enjoyed the pool and a quick trip to the lake with him!

Daddy bought a pink pool and it's a big hit! We use it at least twice a weekend!

We are working on our smiles and while not the prettiest of smiles, it does capture McKinley's personality pretty well! One day, she'll hate this but we laugh when we see it.

New Haircut

This is a couple of months old but I wanted to be sure and document. See this haircut? Does this look like a bowl cut to you? Billy cut her hair WITHOUT ME! He has promised never to let this happen again! :)

Gymnastics

McKinley, you love gymnastics! You wear Mommy and Daddy out but it's so good to see you learning! I am hopeful you will love gymnastics for a long time. We enjoy this time with you and you always crack us up. You consistently run off at least once every class, you always double back on the trampoline during the circuit and you LOVE the red sponges but only if your Daddy is the one throwing you in! You are a joy!!!

RIP Herschel March 1997 - Feb 2011

Herschel, you were the orneriest dog for most of your life but you have a sweet side that you showed me exactly when I needed it. There will never be another dog like you and I miss you every.single.day. I will always be grateful that you held on long enough to meet and get to know McKinley. You will not be forgotten
