McKinley was the Itsy Bitsy Spider- she loves the song and has been trying on her outfit for weeks! She was still a little shy about trick-or-treating but did great!

Chuck E Cheese

Saturday was our first visit to Chuck E Cheese's! Mac is still a little too young- I think she was overwhelmed with all the offerings! She was more interested in the coins and cups than the actual rides. Matt, Billy and I enjoyed it! Pizza wasn't bad either!

Uncle Matt arrived today and he brought halloween smiley face cookies and a new llama llama book!!! This is going to be a great weekend!

Making cupcakes

McKinley made her first batch of cupcakes today!!! Well, she was a BIG help to Mommy- she added the eggs and stirred with the spatula! Then she patiently watched them bake in the oven! We are so excited for Halloween!!!

A quiet Saturday

We ended up having a quiet Saturday- our good friends Jamie and Joe and their twin boys were coming today but the whole family ended up sick. We are hoping to reschedule soon because we can't wait to get McKinley, Miller and Grey together!! We've spent most of the day at home watching the Aggies and playing in Abba's kennel.

Coins

Papaw has officially started the coin collection! He brought McKinley the uncirculated Bill of Rights coins in pure silver. She was very intrigued and immediately started counting and stacking the coins! Just as my Grandfather (Billy) started me on my coin collection, thanks Papa, Papaw has carried on the tradition. Coins are a wonderful collectable that is fun for all ages, and interest levels. A collection generally grows in value and new and old coins constantly come to market to excite even the most avid collectors. Thank you Papaw!

We skipped gymnastics and headed to the country! Mac loved the corn maze and hayride and even got to pet a few animals.

The Papaw Weekend

We had a fun-filled weekend for Papaw's visit. Here we are trying multiple times to get that perfect shot- we never really got it but we did get close......

New Halloween Pajamas from Uncle Matt

Not only did Uncle Matt send new a new pair crocs (with Dora and Boots bling! pics to follow!) for fall, but he also sent these adorable pink pj's! Thanks Uncle Matt!!!!

McKinley's preschool has pumpkins this year! We headed up there this afternoon to pick out some more pumpkins. McKinley loved it- I think Fall may be our favorite season!

It's been a busy Sunday

Before I post the "fun" pics, I want to state here that for me, it's not always so easy. I try, I try really hard to look like I am keeping it together, and most times, it is very hard with a toddler. It's not about me anymore, and as much as I love that, and I really do, seeing some of these pictures of myself these days, makes me cringe!! But McKinley, you are 110% worth it and I would do this again if it means making you happy! Your daddy and I swore we would not be those dorky parents that sing to their kids or do whatever it takes to get a smile...... and yet , here I am?!?!?!! But make no mistake, I love being your Mommy!!!!! It's hands down my hardest yet most rewarding job. Love you Sweet Pea!
